D?MAD, from pop/hip-hop artist, the artist, who has recently gone viral for his hit single “World is Spinning” is looking to influence the world through his music. DMAD, born Andrew “Drew” Hubbel, may have seen success from his song “World is Spinning,” but many don’t know he recorded the song straight off his iPhone. “I recorded the song in my car in my school parking lot at 3 am using my USB mic and iPhone,” explained the pop/hip-hop artist. “I released the song in April 2020 and was later surprised to see it as a trending sound on TikTok a year later” he continued. His focus shifted more on music than sports after he obtained an injury from basketball, which found him recording music more. He began releasing his music in 2019 and it wasn’t long before he eventually shared “World is Spinning.” The record, which comes paired with an official music video bringing in hundreds of thousands of views, has hit significant milestones since trending, including charting in 52 countries and peaking at #4 in Italy and #17 on the Spotify Global Charts. It currently spins on multiple digital radio platforms such as Spotify, Pandora, and iHeart Radio.
