Family Fun Concert @ Chautauqua

The Hastings Symphony Orchestra kicks off Season 98 with a concert for the whole family! This program of light-classical favorites, film and video-game music, and patriotic standards will surely please young and old alike! We welcome a guest conductor, eight-year-old Maggie of Hastings, NE, winner of the Hastings Public Library Summer Reading Program grand prize, who will conclude the concert by conducting Stars & Stripes Forever. Please note: This outdoor concert is under a pavilion in a grassy park. We encourage all attendees to wear appropriate clothing and bring water. There is plenty of seating, but feel free to bring lawn chairs to sit in the grass around the pavilion if you'd like. While this is a free concert, a bucket will be passed for optional donations.
