Live Sky Tonight

When: Wednesday, March 11th Where: Brickyard Park When: 9:00-9:45 pm Experience the wonder of the cosmos right here in Hastings! Join the Hastings Museum at Brickyard Park for a special evening of stargazing beginning at 9:00 pm. As the sky darkens, we’ll explore the constellations, planets, and bright stars under the actual night sky. Using a powerful green laser pointer, our guide will trace each constellation in the sky so you can see exactly where it lies among the stars. Whether you’re brand-new to astronomy or already a seasoned stargazer, you’ll come away with a deeper appreciation for the universe above us. Planetarium Coordinator Kirk Rosberg will be your guide for the evening, ready to answer your astronomy questions and share fascinating insights about the night sky. Bring a lawn chair or blanket if you plan to stay for the full program and settle in for a relaxing, educational evening under the stars. This event is weather and clouds permitting! If it is too cloudy, the event will not be rescheduled.
