DRIVER/CLEANER
BNB Cleaning Pros | Hastings, NE (serving Hastings, Grand Island, and Kearney)
Full-time | Starting at $19/hour | Mon to Fri, 8am to 4pm (varies with daily workload), plus rotating after-hours and Saturday commercial shifts
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Safely drive the company vehicle with crew members, equipment, and supplies to scheduled job sites
- Plan routes and arrive on time, and tell the office and clients about any delays
- Load, unload, and organize cleaning equipment and supplies, and keep the vehicle clean and stocked
- Perform standard, deep, move-in/move-out, commercial, and post-construction cleaning according to company checklists
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize kitchens and restrooms, clean glass, and empty trash
- Follow client notes and special instructions, including preferred products and areas to prioritize
- Report pre-existing damage, safety concerns, or conditions that need extra time before continuing work
- Do routine vehicle checks (fuel, tires, fluids, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs
- Treat client homes, businesses, and belongings with respect and discretion
EXPERIENCE
- Professional cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. We'll train the right person.
- Experience driving a passenger vehicle for work (delivery, transport, rideshare) is a plus
- Bilingual is a plus
LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Nebraska driver's license
- Clean driving record and ability to be covered under the company's auto insurance
- Must be at least 21 years old (for insurance purposes)
- Must pass a background check before starting
- Reliable phone for scheduling and team communication
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong attention to detail and pride in doing work correctly
- Safe, defensive driving habits and familiarity with Hastings, Grand Island, and Kearney (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to follow checklists and written or verbal instructions
- Knowledge of safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals, or willingness to be trained
- Time management, keeping the crew on schedule without cutting corners
- Clear, friendly communication with clients and teammates
- Dependability and punctuality, since your crew is counting on you to get there
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work takes place in client homes, offices, retail spaces, apartment complexes, and newly built properties
- Daily travel between job sites across Hastings, Grand Island, Kearney, and surrounding areas
- Physically active work: standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs for most of the shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs (vacuums, supply caddies, equipment)
- Regular exposure to cleaning products, with protective gloves and equipment provided
- Some outdoor exposure while loading and traveling in Nebraska weather
- Primary schedule is weekday daytime, with after-hours and Saturday commercial cleanings shared among the team on a rotating schedule
